Sharon M. Hanlon was raised on a farm in Minnesota and completed her education in Minnesota and Michigan.  She has been a practicing lawyer for over 35 years.  Sharon began her practice in Michigan and moved to Naples, Florida in 1992.   Sharon joined a local prominent law firm, later leaving to form a partnership with another attorney, and in 2013 formed her own firm, Law Offices of Sharon M Hanlon, P.A.    Sharon is married and has three adult children.   

She has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invite only organization consisting of approximately 7,500 trial lawyers in the U.S. Ms. Hanlon is also AV-rated, which recognizes attorneys who represent the highest level of professional skill and integrity in the practice of law, and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer.

• Re-appointed by Governor DeSanctis to the 20th Judicial Nominating Commission (2020-2024).
• Awarded the Donald M. Van Koughnet "Lion of the Law" in 2010, awarded by the Collier County Judiciary which recognizes attorneys with highest professionalism

• Recognized by The Collier County Legal Aid Society as the Attorney of the Month for September 2012, in recognition of pro bono work within the County
